Trouble Finding Email In RSS
Your podcast RSS privacy settings or XML quality are currently preventing visibility to your email address. If your Podcast RSS is set to private, please change your RSS email privacy settings temporarily. If your XML quality does not meet the podcast standard, consider updating it to a high-quality hosting provider.
Why Is This Happening?
PodMatch requires visibility to your RSS email address in order to verify your podcast ownership and prevent fraud. You are seeing this validation error for one of two reasons: either your podcast hosting provider has your RSS email hidden, or your RSS feed has XML issues.
Hidden email validation error
Having your email address hidden from your RSS is an optional privacy setting offered by some hosting providers. To continue the registration portion of PodMatch, we'll need you to allow temporary public access to your podcast RSS feed. (Please note: 90% of podcast hosts keep their RSS public, and there is no risk involved.)
After waiting 10 minutes (but no more than 24 hours) from signaling your hosting provider to expose your email address, retry signup on PodMatch. What happens is our system rescans your RSS, and if your input email address matches the email address now exposed on your RSS, you'll get your code and be able to complete registration. Your hosting provider will usually re-hide your email address automatically for you in 24 hours.
XML issues validation error
A low-quality hosting provider is normally the cause of XML issues; this may be the case for your podcast RSS. If you're using a high-quality hosting provider, it is rare to have an error within your RSS XML. You can validate your RSS here to check for any errors that may be preventing PodMatch from being able to read it.
Unfortunately, there's no way for PodMatch to validate your account without you upgrading your hosting provider or improving your RSS XML to match industry standards. Once you've upgraded hosting or improved XML, you will be able to complete your podcast's validation process.

Got It!
Thanks!
We’ll automatically validate and import your show’s information, so you don’t have to add it manually.
This could take a minute or two, please avoid clicking the back button or refreshing the page.
Fraud Prevention
To ensure our strict no-fraud policy, your podcast RSS email must be set to public through your show’s hosting provider, and you must use that same email address to register. (You can update your email once registration is complete)
Uncertain of the email address being used in your Podcast RSS or if it’s set to public? Login to your hosting provider to access this information.
Email Non-Match
Your PodMatch account registration email does not match the email in your Podcast RSS. (Your Podcast RSS email is: {{var_trunc_email.value}})
You have two options to continue registration:
1. Change the PodMatch registration email you chose to match your Podcast RSS.
2. Update the email address in your podcast RSS to match the email you desire to use for PodMatch registration. (Please note: These changes can be temporary. Once registration is complete, you can revert your podcast RSS email to the address you previously used.)

The email address you entered has already been registered.
* If you have already registered as a guest and are attempting to add a host account, you can do so by clicking "Add A Host Account" from the menu after logging in.
* If you registered with this email and did not receive the confirmation email or need it to be re-sent, please login with your credentials and select to "resend email" once prompted.
Why Do We Ask This?
Two reasons:
1. For legal purposes, members must be over age 18.
2. For matching accuracy, we need to know if guests are within the age range the host is seeking. (Some podcasts only interview age-specific guests, like 65+ Retirees, or millennial guests.)
Your birth year is hidden (not visible to other members): it’s strictly used for matching accuracy.
