PodMatch Refund Policy
Except as set out in this agreement, all sales are final.
We care about each of our members, and want you to be 100% satisfied with your PodMatch experience. In the rare event you are not satisfied, PodMatch will issue a refund either 1) in-full of the most-recent charge or 2) pro-rata of unused time already paid for, for any of the following scenarios:
- Upon initial signup, the PodMatch Matching Algorithm could not find any matches at all for your member profile, within the first week of the signup date.
- Your profile incurred a total system error or data corruption that permanently prevents you from completing your account after being charged.
- Any systematic errors occurred that result in duplicate charges or incorrect charge amounts.
- You are dissatisfied with the service within the first two weeks of signup and have not run afoul of any of the exceptions listed below that would make you ineligible for a refund.
To receive a refund, either in-full or partial, you must contact us at team@podmatch.com. If you do not email us and instead utilize the Automated One-Click Cancellation system within the website as detailed below, no refund will be granted. All refund decisions, refund amounts, and refund scenarios are at the sole discretion of PodMatch staff.
Refunds will not be issued for any reason determined at the sole discretion of PodMatch staff, which includes, but is not limited to, any of the following scenarios:
- If you've engaged with a significant number of other PodMatch members, as determined by PodMatch staff, or have loaded and displayed a significant number of profiles, then request a refund. This is considered scraping; no refund shall be granted.
- Refunds requested due to any brief system outage or data partner outage that incurs temporary site downtime.
- Refunds requested due to any loss of data due to unforeseeable network or infrastructure failures.
- If PodMatch staff is receiving abuse reports about you from other PodMatch members, you may be removed from the PodMatch platform. At that point, any partial refund amount will be at the sole discretion of PodMatch staff.
Automated One-Click Cancellation
If you wish to fully delete your account or pause-billing of your PodMatch account, you can immediately do so, at any time, by visiting the Billing page within the PodMatch website and initiating either an account deletion or billing-pause via the provided one-click system. Note that if you have any outstanding system-booked interviews that are not yet complete, you will not be able to pause your account until they have been either cancelled or completed. Upon completing the automated process, any future billing will immediately cease, until either of the following:
- If you deleted your account, you re-signup as a PodMatch member again.
- If you paused billing on your account, you log back in to PodMatch at any time.
PodMatch Elite Program Refund Policy
Except as set out in this agreement, all sales are final.
The PodMatch Elite program will issue refunds for the following reasons:
- If you join PodMatch Elite and find that it’s not the right group for you or you are not gaining value from it, within the first calendar month of your initial signup into the PodMatch Elite program, you’ll receive a 100% refund upon contacting us at team@podmatch.com. (We do not expect this to be the case for anyone who joins!)
- If you join PodMatch Elite and find that it’s not the right group for you or you are not gaining value from it, after the first calendar month of your initial signup into the PodMatch Elite program, you will receive a pro-rata refund for any unused time you have paid.
Both full-refund and pro-rata refund scenarios detailed above only apply upon your specific request. If you do not request either at team@podmatch.com, and instead cancel using the automated one-click downgrade system, you will be immediately downgraded to a PodMatch Professional account and no longer charged for PodMatch Elite, however unused time will not be refunded automatically.
Refunds will not be issued if any of the following apply, as determined at the sole discretion of PodMatch staff:
- If you’ve engaged with a significant majority of other PodMatch Elite members, as determined by PodMatch staff, or saved all of their information to reach out to them later prior to requesting a refund; this is considered scrapping and no refund shall be granted.
- If you attend a keynote event and, at PodMatch staff's discretion, soon-after request a cancellation and/or refund; no refund shall be granted.
- If you join, promote your product/service or leverage your membership to gain influence with a 3rd party then request a refund; no refund shall be granted.
- If PodMatch staff is receiving abuse reports about you from other PodMatch Elite members, you may be removed from the PodMatch Elite program. At that point, any partial refund amount will be at the sole discretion of PodMatch staff.
Automated One-Click Cancellation
You may cancel your PodMatch Elite program membership at any time, found within the Billing page of the PodMatch website. You will be immediately downgraded to PodMatch Professional account, which is currently a premium of ${{global02_pricing.data.output_pro_rate}} per month. If you paid for a multi-month plan within the PodMatch Elite program, you will not be billed for PodMatch Professional until the number of months paid for in the PodMatch Elite program have expired. Pro rata refunds of unused time are only provided in accordance with the above section.
If you wish to further fully-delete your account or pause billing after being downgraded to a PodMatch Professional account, you can immediately do so, at any time, by visiting the Billing page again and initiating an account deletion or billing-pause via the provided one-click system. Note that if you have any outstanding system-booked interviews that are not yet complete, you will not be able to pause your account until they have been either cancelled or completed.
